The Common Gentleman is a Barbershop Based in Canterbury.
Jamie has 20 years of experience in the hair industry, handling all aspects of both male and female hair with a focus on people struggling with hair loss and troublesome curly hair.
Anthony has been cutting hair for 10 years and trained at the London school of barbering. He has exceptional fading ability and a great eye for beards.
Ultimately we are a pair of nerds with roots in gaming, movies and skateboarding who like to make people look and feel good.
We have always been lucky to be involved with the LGBTQ+ community around canterbury and understand that sometimes it is a struggle to find a comfortable environment for a haircut, so we are a gender neutral barbershop and want you to feel at home with us.
Out of respect for our other clients, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we will have to refuse service as we work to a specific schedule and can't run behind.
If you think you may arrive late give us a call to check and we may be able to move your appointment.

In a slightly unusual setup, the shop is obscured from street view, so to make life easier here are some more specific directions as to where you can find us.
We are based on the 2nd floor of the Micro Roastery coffee shop (which makes amazing coffee)
Head straight into the coffee shop and you'll find a staircase, follow it all the way up to the top and thats where you'll find us ready to greet you. Any issues just give us a call.
